Clinical Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is not mind control but a collaborative process where the client remains aware and fully in control. As a therapist, my duty is to guide you through the process, ensuring you feel safe and secure at all times.
Hypnosis is a natural 'trance-like' state of focused concentration and deep relaxation. We enter hypnodial states between 50 to 200 times a day when reading books, driving and daydreaming. This state is used in therapy to help with issues like anxiety, phobias, chronic pain, or habit change (like smoking cessation).
In this state, an individual is more open to suggestions which allows us to access their subconscious to create positive changes in behaviour, emotions, beliefs and pain perception.

Techniques and Approaches
Clinical Hypnotherapy
A therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation and focused attention (a trance-like state) to help patients address physical and psychological issues.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Focuses on reprogramming thoughts, language, and behavioural patterns affect experiences to change limiting beliefs, manage emotions like anxiety and stress, and nurture personal development.
EFT and EMDR
EFT reduces intense feelings, emotions and regulates the nervous system through meridian tapping.
EMDR focuses on treating individuals who have experienced distressing, traumatic events through eye movement.
Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy
Focuses on solutions and desired futures rather than past problems, it uses techniques like guided relaxation to reduce stress, improve sleep, and boost wellbeing.
Positive Psychology
Effective interventions to aid in the attainment of a fulfilling life, rather than treating mental illness.
